Soda Sparkle Review!

I recently had the chance to sample a SodaSparkle™ Home Soda Maker SUPER Starter Kit, which allows you to turn crisp cold water into crisp cold, sparkling soda with the twist of a cap and a little injection of CO2!

With individual soda chargers you just pop in, twist and fizz - making soda couldn't be simpler or quicker! Each charger is a one time use and recyclable so a lot of waste can be saved over buying soda at the store AND the SodaSparkle™ itself is small enough to put away neatly without taking up a ton of counter space! You can literally have soda in seconds with the SodaSparkle™ and without the waste of bottles and cans!! No more lugging those heavy bottles home and no more waste!

The pack that I received included the following:

  • SodaSparkle™ Machine
  • 1 x 1.3L bottle
  • 1 x 1L bottle (for extra fizz)
  • 5 x CO2 cartridges
  • 15 single serve packs starter kit (3 single serve packs x 5 flavors )

The natural flavors in this pack come in Lychee, Pineapple, Apple, Cola-Lemon and Tonic Water and are pre-measured so that all you have to do is fizz, flavor and pour! It really is that simple! You can use use a different flavor per person, per serving OR a bigger bottle pack, which allows you to flavor the entire bottle in one pop!

The science behind having a smaller bottle alongside the bigger bottle is so that the fizz is more concentrated for a fuller fizz in the smaller bottle and a lighter fizz in the larger bottle! No need to worry about the amount of CO2 here either! Just pop in the same amount, pick a bottle and create your desired fizz!

I have to say that I was skeptical at first that this wasn't going to be "all that and a bag of chips" but actually I really like it! I like the convenience and I like the fact that you can pop it away out of site when it isn't in use! With a small kitchen like mine I do need all of the counter space I can get and so just whipping out the SodaSparkle™ when I needed (or wanted) to use it worked perfectly for us and there was never anything left out on the side!

The flavors were light but refreshing and, while I would like to have seen a few other flavors, I was very satisfied with the ones that were available! The Lychee was my favorite followed a close second by the Apple! The children enjoyed the taste and I felt a lot better about giving them this over cans of sugary soda from the store!

With all the benefits this machine has to offer, they really are nice to have around the house and you can keep a bottle of home-made soda in the fridge to grab any time you fancy a little fizz! The bottles you use are heavy duty and designed to withstand the pressure of the CO2 and carry a long life enabling you to save time, money and space for longer!

The overall consensus in our home is that this machine is light, useful and fun for when you want to add a little sparkle to your water! The only thing that could make it better is more flavors!  For a full list of the current flavors available, and prices you can CLICK HERE! You will also find a starter pack HERE

Have you had any experience with the SodaSparkle™? I would love to hear what you think!!

That sounds so neat! Not to mention better on storage than purchasing cases of pop. But I have to ask, how was the Lychee?

This sounds easy to make and I love the single serve concept!

Melissa, the Lychee was nice! I liked it a lot! My children preferred the Cola-Lemon though, mostly because they didn't know what Lychee was! Once they tried it though they enjoyed it!

I have an 8 year old that keeps asking to get one of these. I may have to break down and get one!
