Redesigning A Dresser, Which Has Seen MUCH Better Days (with Real Milk Paint!)...

If you are wondering where I've been this weekend, then let me share with you a little bit about a new project I've taken on while also trying to cook, clean, parent and all that other good stuff!!

See, I have this dresser, which is old, gross and painted black (not by me, but by the person who gave it to us) and it has seen many better days and was about ready to hit the junk yard!

Here is said dresser:

Today, I finally sanded it down and got it ready to paint!!

This is the dresser mid-sanding! I DO love my electric sander for the job but of course some elbow grease is always needed for the finer, smaller parts!

Now that you can see the bare bones of the dresser, I should like to let you in on a little secret that the paint I am going to transform this with is "Real Milk Paint", which I got in the mail earlier this week [from www.realmilkpaint.com], in order to complete this entire dresser - and perhaps the one in the room next door

This is Real Milk Paint!

Real milk paint is amazing and colorful with an almost chalky like look to it on the furniture, which is fabulous and I can't wait to see what the finished product looks like!!

In the mean time, this is how the dresser looked about 2 hours ago!!

I can't wait to tell you all about Real Milk Paint and to show off my new dresser, so keep your eyes peeled!!

Take it easy!
Until tomorrow...

Disclaimer: I was provided with ALL paint materials for this review, thanks to Real Milk Paint!

Thank you!!

How much do electric sanders run? I need to do this on a desk of mine. It's a really old hand me down from a friend and it has so many marks and horrible random paint jobs.
