Reindeer Dust for a New Tradition, This Christmas! #MGBHGG

This year, you and your children can start a new tradition, with this wonderful little book called Reindeer Dust, by Kate Dwyer.

As santa and his reindeer get set to travel the world and to make Christmas happen, something goes wrong! The reindeer didn't have time to eat before they left and they are all hungry AND there is a fog coming, how on earth are they going to see where to land, and how are they going to fill their tummys?

Well, a smart little boy called William is about to save Christmas with his reindeer dust, which you can make along with your children, and put out for the reindeer to guide their way on Christmas Eve so that they don't get lost, or hungry!

As you are sprinkling your dust, there is a poem to be read to make it even that much more special! A nice touch to round out the book.

This is a sweet idea for a tradition which doesn't involve anything negative or time-consuming, just love and a little fun. You are teaching your children to have a good time, and to look after others by leaving out the reindeer dust, plus they can let their imagination run, while building up the excitement for Christmas, the next day!

If you like, you can sweep up or move around the reindeer dust the following morning, to make it look like the reindeer came by and see the smile it will put on everyone's face in doing so!

You can check out Reindeer Dust at Barnes and Noble as well as Amazon and you can find out more by following Twitter, with @reindeer_dust, as well as visiting www,

A new tradition, this Christmas? I think so!
