Here is line of imported vodka, made from 100% whole grain, that I think you might like and which I had the chance to try for myself, this week, too. I have never heard of this brand until now and I wasn't sure what to expect but I liked the simplicity in presentation and wanted to give it my best shot.
I prefer flavored vodka, if I drink it at all, so I tried out the Danzka CranRaz, which is flavored naturally with its cranberry and Raspberry flavors for an interesting and tasteful drink, well enjoyed on its own, on the rocks or with a little dash of lemonade for a simple, longer drink.
I wasn't sure what to expect from the plain vodka as this isn't my kind of drink at all, but I was recently told that if a plain vodka works in egg-nog, it'll work in anything, so I went straight to the egg-nog that I happened to have in my fridge for Christmas and poured a little vodka in it.
I sat back and thought about my decision and wondered how it would taste and gave it a sniff. It wasn't too bad and so I went for it and took a sip. Guess what?! It tasted GREAT!
I love egg-nog, I love it spiked a little, but have never even tried to spike it this way before and so I was pleasantly surprised when it actually worked out. Given that, I decided that perhaps it was actually time to give the plain vodka a go on its own, so poured a little into a glass and furnished it with some ice and gave it a try.
I am not, like I have mentioned before, a vodka person, never really felt the need to head towards it in the store and would usually pick up a bourbon or something like that because I feel like most vodkas that I have tried tasted like petrol or something that could burn a hole in your mouth and so have not ventured too far afield with the vodka.
Did I like it?! I sure did! You can definitely tell that this is a premium quality vodka and it really shines through in the way it mixes well with just about anything. I introduced this brand to my friend who thoroughly enjoyed it more on its own than in a mix, but I preferred it with a little lemonade and ice for a longer drink.
DANZKA, to me, is very light compared to some other brands I have tried and doesn't have that heavy-fuel-filled bite to it that a lot of the cheaper vodkas do have. I couldn't drink it straight for long, but I could definitely handle a shot of it here and there at a party or get-together, too.
I did introduce this brand to a group of friends over Christmas and they all seemed to comment on the design of the bottle and that it looked pretty fashionable and that it might even be great to use it for something else once the bottle is done, so extra points for that to the company!
There are more flavors to choose from than days of the week, too, which is always a bonus - flavors including citrus or grapefruit flavors, which are refreshing and new to me, and which I don't think I've seen in a vodka before.
Overall, I was pleased with the taste and quality of this vodka, found it to mix well, which is even better, and it was well received by friends and family.

I would love to know if you've tried DANZKA before and what you thought of it! Pick some up for your party, tonight!
